Senior Licensing Manager

A highly successful and fast-growing global games and toys manufacturer is looking to appoint a Senior Licensing Manager to join its expanding EMEA Consumer Products team. Working within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, you will play a pivotal role in helping shape licensed consumer products programmes across multiple markets for a leading name in the industry. The business partners with some of the world's most recognised brands and is committed to delivering innovative, trend-led products that resonate with consumers across a broad range of age groups and retail channels. This is a high-visibility position offering genuine ownership, the opportunity to influence creative strategy, and the chance to contribute to the continued growth and success of the function.

Responsibilities

  • Creative Point of Contact: Act as the primary creative point of contact for assigned licensees across the EMEA region, with a particular focus on either the hardlines or softlines categories.
  • Product Development: Provide creative direction and guidance throughout the product development process, ensuring all products, packaging, marketing collateral and retail programmes are aligned with brand standards, consumer expectations and market trends.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams across retail, marketing, social, global events and commercial functions, translating trend insights and consumer understanding into compelling product concepts and differentiated collections.
  • Leadership: Balance creativity with commercial thinking, lead regular licensee meetings, provide clear and constructive feedback, manage approvals and samples, and inspire partners through creative mock-ups, innovative ideas and elevated product execution that drives category growth.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least five years' experience in creative design, ideally gained across multiple product categories.
  • Skills:
    • Strong graphic design skills.
    • An excellent eye for detail.
    • Proven ability to create brand-right products that appeal to both consumers and retail partners.
  • Background:
    • Experience within consumer products, licensing, toys or related sectors is essential.
    • Strong understanding of product development processes and brand stewardship.
  • Personality:
    • A confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Thrives on combining strategic creative thinking with hands-on execution.
