Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council,
This is an exiting opportunity to be part of the Taxi Licensing Team. We are looking for a customer focused individual, with excellent communication skills to manage and develop our Licensing Officers.
Role Overview
The position is mostly office based supervising the frontline service provision to our customers, ensuring that it is timely, efficient and in line with published service standards. The successful candidate will be providing technical and general guidance in relation to licensing functions, preparing committee reports and giving evidence in Court on Licensing Matters as and when required.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years experience working in a licensing environment
- Supervisory experience and experience of working within an income generating environment
- Hold or be willing to obtain a licensing qualification
- Experience of dealing with Members, Council Committee, including the preparation and presentation of reports

Hours
- 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday
- 9 am to 4.30 pm on a Friday
