Senior Life Practitioner – Apple Tree Bungalow, Kisimul
About The Role
- Location: Apple Tree Bungalow
- £500 joining bonus: Disbursed as £250 on commencement and £250 upon probation completion
At Kisimul, we provide high-quality education, care, and support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. This includes:
- Schools and colleges for children and young people (up to age 19)
- Residential care and supported living for adults (18-65)
- Specialised support for behaviours of concern

We’re recruiting Senior Life Practitioners to deliver outstanding care within our growing community.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Life Practitioner, you’ll support adults with severe learning disabilities and complex needs in achieving independence and a better quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:

- Guiding individuals with day-to-day living, personal development, and long-term goals
- Accompanying learners to community activities (e.g., shopping, appointments, meals)
- Building positive, respectful relationships and fostering dignity and well-being
- Collaborating with colleagues to safeguard, empower, and mentor the people we support
Pay Structure
Salaries are progressive through our competency framework:
- Level 1: £13.99 per hour
- Level 2: £14.31 per hour
- Level 3: £15.19 per hour

About You
We’re looking for individuals with the following qualities:
- A true passion for care, with a desire to see others thrive
- Teamwork, resilience, and a proactive mindset
- Confidence to seek support and contribute ideas
- Excellent communication skills and basic IT proficiency
- Care experience is welcome but not mandatory – fully funded training is provided
