We’re so much more than an energy company. We’re a family of brands revolutionising how we power the planet. We're energisers. One team of 21,000 colleagues that’s energising a greener, fairer future by creating an energy system that doesn’t rely on fossil fuels, whilst living our powerful commitment to igniting positive change in our communities. Here, you can find more purpose, more passion and more potential. That’s why working here is #MoreThanACareer. We do energy differently – we do it all. We make it, store it, move it, sell it and mend it.

About your team

At Centrica Energy, our mission is to move it.

We’re energy movers by nature. We’re a global renewable energy trading company which helps move energy from source to use – powering businesses, homes, and societies as they transition to a new sustainable energy future. If the idea of working to create a sustainable energy future also moves you, we may very well be the right place for you.

Location

This role is based at our Park House office in London and requires on‑site presence 3 days a week.

About your role

We're looking for an experienced Senior LNG Engineer to join our LNG Technology team.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role where you'll lead the design and delivery of complex platform enhancements, drive technical improvements and help modernise the technology supporting our LNG trading business. You'll play a key role in improving platform resilience, maintainability and operational excellence while influencing future architecture and engineering standards.

Alongside delivering technical solutions, you'll provide senior-level support for complex production issues, mentor fellow engineers and work closely with business stakeholders to translate commercial requirements into scalable technology outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
