Senior Localization Producer – Theatrical Marketing Localization

We are expanding our theatrical marketing localization group and are seeking a Senior Localization Producer. This role will report to a Localization Production Lead and work closely with cross-functional teams, including Theatrical Marketing, Studios Marketing, and Amazon Studios Production & Mastering.
About the Role
The Senior Localization Producer will oversee the end-to-end development and delivery of high-quality localized marketing assets—including dubbed/subtitled trailers, TV/digital spots, key art, audio assets, and metadata—for Amazon Originals films and series. The position demands creative production leadership, ensuring campaigns resonate globally across 240+ countries and territories while maintaining the original campaign’s creative intent and technical standards.
This role requires subject-matter expertise in:
- Localization production pipelines
- A/V finishing processes
- Creative adaptation (dubbing, subtitling, artwork)
- Advocating for quality creative output under tight deadlines
Key Responsibilities
Creative Asset Development & Production Oversight
- Handle localized marketing campaigns for Amazon Originals series/flicks, supervising creative development of dubbed/subtitled trailers, TV/digital spots, key art, and metadata across multiple languages/regions.
- Oversee creative adaptation and finishing of A/V marketing materials through translation/adaptation, voice casting, recording direction, mix, conform, and versioning, ensuring fidelity to the source campaign.
- Provide creative quality oversight for:
- Dubbed performances
- Subtitle accuracy
- Artwork adaptation
- Overall creative fidelity to the original vision

Vendor Management & Creative Partner Coordination
- Manage third-party localization vendors, including dubbing studios, subtitle partners, and artwork houses.
- Direct foreign talent (voice actors, scriptwriters, recording engineers) to achieve the highest localized output quality.
Production Pipeline & Asset Management
- Develop and enforce end-to-end production timelines, proactively identifying risks.
- Oversee asset acquistion, workflow tracking, and delivery from source receipt through adaptation, production, QC, to final delivery.
- Build/maintain production asset trackers and vendor asset management systems for the portfolio.
- Enforce content security protocols throughout the process.
Quality Control & Creative Standards
- Ensure QC compliance for deliverables, resolving technical/creative rejections from stakeholders.
- Analyze customer feedback and drive systemic improvements in localized asset quality.
Budget & Operational Management
- Own localization budgets for assigned titles, negotiating vendor terms, invoicing, and cost optimization without compromising quality.
- Identify efficiencies and scalable workflows for future growth.
Cross-Functional Creative Collaboration
- Partner with Studios Marketing to align localized adaptations with campaign vision.
- Collaborate with Finishing Production teams for asset readiness and timeline alignment.
- Work with regional marketing POs to address local creative/cultural requirements.

About the Team
Our global marketing localization team ensures Prime Video delivers a consistent customer experience worldwide. This entails centralized program management with cross-functional priorities that bridge global and local innovation needs.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in or with creative services, agencies, or studios
- Background in marketing, production, or creative departments
- Knowledge of cross-functional project leadership
- Proficiency with digital asset management tools
- Experience writing business strategy documents and financial impact reports
- International versioning and dubbing workflow expertise
- Demonstrated ability to produce theatrical assets within technical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on post-production strategy and full-scale delivery ownership
- Experience managing multi-team workflows under tight deadlines
- Technical debugging skills across multiple AV/static content formats
