The Role
A client in the consumer goods industry is seeking a Senior Manager, 3PL and Parcel Carrier to join the team for a contract until January 2027.
You will lead high-volume 3PL warehouse and parcel carrier operations across two UK sites, driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement across both B2B and D2C fulfilment.
You will work closely with senior supply chain leadership to deliver operational excellence across a large-scale logistics network with significant budget accountability.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end 3PL operations across two high-volume sites, ensuring performance, accuracy, and service levels are consistently met
- Own parcel carrier management across the UK and Europe, including performance tracking, optimisation, and Europarcel operations
- Drive KPI performance through detailed analysis, providing immediate feedback and enforcing accountability with vendors and partners
- Lead cost management and continuous improvement initiatives across a large logistics budget and parcel volumes

Requirements
- Extensive 3PL experience is essential, ideally from a client-side environment rather than solely logistics providers
- Proven experience managing high-volume operations across both B2B and D2C fulfilment (D2C preferred)
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work in highly detailed, performance-driven environments
- Excellent communication skills with a direct approach and ability to operate under close performance scrutiny

Details
- Start date: August 1 2026
- Duration: 6 Months
- Day rate: £400–£450 per day LTD
- Location: East Midlands, 4 days per week onsite.
