Senior Luggage Porter
As a Senior Luggage Porter, you will deliver an exceptional first and last impression to all guests, ensuring a warm welcome, seamless luggage handling, and professional coordination of transport and guest services. You will lead the Luggage Porter and Doorman team, ensuring the highest standards of service, safety, and operational excellence are maintained at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Concierge or Luggage Porter role within a 4- or 5-star hotel
- Supervisory or team-leading experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
- Strong knowledge of guest service standards and hospitality etiquette
- Ability to handle guest concerns calmly and efficiently
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Understanding of Health & Safety and security procedures
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Eligibility to work in the UK is essential

Responsibilities
- Lead the Luggage Porter and Doorman team to deliver a consistently warm and professional welcome
- Ensure all guests are greeted using correct phraseology and assisted with arrivals and departures
- Handle guest luggage safely and securely at all times
- Coordinate transportation requests with the Concierge Desk, following hotel procedures
- Deliver messages, mail, and packages in line with departmental SOPs
- Oversee daily departmental operations, ensuring adequate staffing and smooth shift handovers
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of entrances, courtyards, and concierge areas
- Handle guest queries and complaints efficiently and professionally
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Fire, and Security procedures
- Maintain effective communication with all hotel departments to support seamless guest service
