The Role

This position is within our AI group.

About the AI Group

The AI group serves as a central function that collaborates with other groups like marketing, game solutions, and individual Tripledot studios. You’ll work closely with data engineers, ML engineers, analysts, and product owners.


Role Overview

You’ll interact with data, engineering, and product teams across multiple studios and other central teams. Your contributions will directly impact key gaming metrics like:

  • Player retention
  • Revenue generation
  • Player experience improvements
  • Enhanced company efficiency
  • Faster time to market for games and features

Progression opportunities exist both within the AI group and into studio roles.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement state-of-the-art AI/ML algorithms for personalisation while tracking industry advancements to determine what works best for our products.

  • Design experiments and prototypes to test the viability and efficacy of new AI/ML models.

  • Translate theoretical research into practical implementations by creating and refining algorithms in our internal codebase.

  • Convert working prototypes into production-ready code—ensuring scalability, consistency, and easy deployment through our ML Lifecycle pipeline.

  • Develop, design, and analyse A/B testing methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of personalisation strategies and optimise player experiences.

  • Continuously monitor and analyse player data, identifying opportunities for deeper personalisation and refining existing algorithms.

  • Clearly document all work, fostering knowledge sharing across teams.


What We’re Looking for

Core Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics) or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Strong grasp of enterprise-level ML techniques, covering:

    • Classification
    • Regression
    • Reinforcement learning
    • Generative methods
  • Real-world machine learning problem-solving experience.

  • Proficiency with modern engineering practices:

    • CI/CD pipelines
    • Version control
    • Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
    • MLOps best practices
    • Deploying ML models to production environments
  • Excel in analytical programming and data visualisation:

    • SQL
    • Python
    • Matplotlib / other visualisation libraries
    • Supportive tools (Git, MLflow, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Trino, Airflow)

  • Statistical expertise, including:

    • Hypothesis testing
    • Sampling techniques

  • Strong ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders with clarity and collaboration.

  • Experience using generative AI copilots/agents in daily coding workflows.

  • Passion for mobile gaming and a strong motivation to improve business outcomes through player engagement strategies.
