Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Up to £120,000 base salary + Benefits - Hybrid, London (Kings Cross)
I'm working with an AI-native PropTech start-up. Instead of AI being another feature, it's at the core of the platform, connecting identity, payments, property services and household management into one intelligent ecosystem.
They're now looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to help build the next generation of production AI that powers the platform.
You'll be working on:
- Building and training production Machine Learning models that solve real-world customer problems.
- Developing LLM and NLP-powered capabilities used by thousands of households.
- Designing scalable data platforms capable of processing large, complex datasets.
- Building AI orchestration pipelines that take models from experimentation into production.
- Leveraging Knowledge Graph thinking to create richer, more intelligent AI systems.
- Improving model evaluation, monitoring and performance as AI systems continue to scale.
- Turning data and AI into commercial products that deliver measurable business value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
