Location: Mere, Wiltshire Salary: £45,000 (Flexible - DoE) + 25 Days Holiday + 8 Days Bank Holidays + Employer Pension (Up to 5% Matched Contribution) + Life Assurance (2x Salary) + Onsite Gym Hours: 39 per week | Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:45 | Friday 08:00–15:45

About the Role
The Senior Maintenance Engineer will take ownership of on-site engineering operations, ensuring that production machinery, facilities, and mechanical systems operate efficiently. This is a hands-on role, combining maintenance oversight with project support—playing a pivotal role in the success of new product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will also lead a small engineering team and drive continuous improvements in engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee various machines (including CNCs)
- Oversee maintenance of machinery and site facilities
- Develop and implement engineering best practices to enhance performance
- Provide hands-on leadership within the team
- Support new product development projects

Requirements
The Senior Maintenance Engineer Candidate should possess:
- A mechanical or electrical bias with relevant engineering experience
- Proven experience maintaining manufacturing machinery
- A strong understanding of building and facilities maintenance
- Candidates from any manufacturing machinery background are encouraged to apply
