Location: Leamington Spa Contract: Full-Time Permanent Salary: Competitive (to be discussed on application)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Maintenance Lead to lead a site-based maintenance function within a busy manufacturing environment, encompassing press, fabrication, assembly, warehouse, and office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Follow an asset-centred approach to ensure 00+ reliability, uptime, and safety across all maintenance functions, delivering against key objectives like:
Maintenance & Reliability
- Develop and implement an asset-centred maintenance and reliability strategy, improving uptime, asset performance, and equipment effectiveness.
- Own and optimise Predictive Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems, CMMS data integrity, asset registers, work order control, downtime reporting, and maintenance KPIs.
- Lead Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) events, analysing recurring faults, identifying losses, and driving targeted reliability improvements.
Process & Compliance
- Manage all contractor involvement, ensuring adherence to RAMS, permits, competency documentation, safe systems of work, performance metrics, cost control, and professional sign-off.
- Maintain rigorous engineering governance, including statutory inspections, certification, safety standards, and compliance records, as per industry best practice.

Team & Resources
- Build and manage maintenance budgets, spares strategies, investment proposals, and asset risk plans.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team, identifying skills gaps and implementing fit-for-purpose training plans.
Critical Incident Management
- Lead root cause analysis for major breakdowns, chronic issues, and equipment-related safety or quality concerns.
Who You Are
The successful candidate will have:
⚡ Leadership Experience
- Proven track record as a Senior Maintenance Lead or similar within manufacturing environments, ideally high-mix production or appliance manufacturing.
⚡ Strategic Expertise
- Trials driving data-led PPM strategies to enhance failure prediction, reliability, and reduce downtime.
⚡ CMMS Proficiency
- Hands-on experience with MaintMaster (or equivalent CMMS) covering asset lifecycle management, reporting, scheduling, and work order discipline.

⚡ TPM & Continuous Improvement
- Demonstrates ability to lead TPM activity and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
⚡ Contractor & Stakeholder Management
- Experience managing contractors across safety protocols, cost efficiency, and performance, with strong governance oversight.
⚡ Regulatory Awareness
- Sound understanding of statutory inspection requirements and maintenance compliance frameworks.
⚡ Soft Skills
- Hands-on, visible leadership approach with exceptional communication, prioritisation, and team development skills.
🎓 Additional Advantages
- Qualifications: Engineering degrees, Lean certification, TPM training, or IOSH membership.
- Experience in high-mix production or machinery-intensive environments.
Operating Conditions
- 39 hours/week, set across a rotating shift pattern:
- Early Shift: 06:00–14:00
- Late Shift: 14:00–22:00
- Continuous willingness to adapt schedule to operational priorities.
