Senior Management Accountant (Ref: 251581)
Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh Working Arrangements: Hybrid (working from home will apply for the foreseeable future) Contract: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £52,845 - £61,466 (Band 7)

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre Senior Management Accountant to join our team. In this position, you will provide:
- Line management, guidance, and support to the Management Accounting and Finance Officer functions
- Strategic leadership and expert professional advice to senior management
- Key financial reporting both internally and externally to the organisation

Essential qualities for success in this role include the ability to:
- Manage competing priorities effectively
- Support and guide colleagues
- Identify and drive improvements and changes within the finance functions
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will:
- Be highly motivated, able to use initiative, and demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Positively and effectively interact across all levels of the organisation, including finance, clinical, and non-clinical staff
- Exhibit excellent communication and organisational skills
- Have an in-depth working knowledge of finance systems
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Senior Management Accountant or equivalent finance leadership role
- Experience in providing financial reporting and strategic advice to senior stakeholders
- Exceptional ability to handle conflicting priorities, deliver under pressure, and manage change
- Emphasis on building strong working relationships and mentorship within the team
