Interim Senior Management Consultant (Near Director Level) - Outside IR35
c£1000+ per day
I'm partnering with a global boutique insurance consultancy that is experiencing significant growth across the UK insurance market. They have secured a high-profile engagement with a London Market insurance syndicate and are seeking an experienced Senior Management Consultant to lead a strategic business consulting workstream.
This is NOT a technology consulting role.
The Opportunity
You will be leading the Business & Consulting workstream on a strategic engagement focused on assessing and shaping a London Market insurer's future approach to AI adoption, business readiness, and value creation.
- Assess current organisational readiness and capability
- Lead executive stakeholder interviews and workshops
- Develop strategic recommendations and future-state roadmaps
- Review operating models and business processes
- Deliver board-level insights and recommendations
- Support value creation planning and transformation prioritization
- Shape compelling client narratives, presentations, and executive reports

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working for a recognised Management Consultancy (Big Four, Tier 1, Tier 2 or Boutique Consultancy)
- Senior Manager or Director-level consulting experience
- Strong London Market, Lloyd's, Specialty or Commercial Insurance expertise
- Proven track record delivering strategy and transformation engagements
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including engagement with C-suite executives
- Comfortable working autonomously and leading workstreams with minimal oversight
- Strong presentation, storyboarding, and executive report-writing capability
- Ability to quickly build credibility with senior insurance leaders
