Senior Manager Accounting

Role overview

The Senior Accounting Manager will play a critical role in building and operating a high-performing, in-house finance function at GreenScale.

Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this role is responsible for the integrity of group financial reporting, including ownership of month-end processes, IFRS-compliant consolidation, and financial control across a multi-entity international structure.

This role sits at the centre of the finance function—combining hands-on technical execution with process design and team leadership. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure financial information is accurate, reliable, and supports effective decision-making.

This is a role for someone who is comfortable operating in a growing, evolving environment, where structure is still being built and high standards are expected from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Group Reporting & Consolidation (IFRS)

Own the preparation of monthly group consolidation under IFRS, including intercompany eliminations, multi-currency adjustments, and resolution of intercompany differences. Ensure outputs are accurate, well-documented, and audit-ready.

Month-End Close & Financial Control

Lead and continuously improve the month-end close process, ensuring timely and high-quality financial reporting. Maintain strong balance sheet integrity and a robust financial control environment across all entities.

Finance Function Build & Process Design

Support the transition from outsourced providers to an in-house finance model. Design and implement scalable processes, controls, and policies to support long-term growth and operational autonomy.

Management Reporting & Business Insight

Deliver clear, business-facing financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet analysis, and commentary. Translate financial data into meaningful insights for senior stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
