At EY, we’re all in to help you shape your future with confidence. We’ll guide your success in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams, allowing your career to flourish wherever you envision it to go. Join EY and play a part in building a better working world.

Position Overview

This is a senior delivery role focusing on leading AI-enabled transformation programmes for financial services clients. The Senior Manager will translate sold opportunities into practical client outcomes.

Engagement typically progresses through two phases:

  1. Design Phase – Defining the future vision, prioritised use cases, value case, operating model, delivery roadmap, and implementation approach.
  2. Build Phase – Developing and implementing AI solutions, processes, controls, adoption plans, and new ways of working.

The role requires a strong consultant with deep financial services experience, delivery discipline, and the ability to link business design, AI, data, technology, risk, and change.

Role Objective

To lead the successful design and delivery of AI-enabled business transformation programmes, helping financial services clients translate AI ambitions into real-world, measurable value creation.

Your Client Impact

  • Lead design-phase engagements, defining how AI can transform business processes, customer journeys, operating models, and colleague experiences.
  • Align client aspirations with AI use cases, target-state designs, value cases, implementation roadmaps, and delivery plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess operational inefficiencies, customer challenges, risk issues, and revenue opportunities.
  • Co-design future operating models, integrating human expertise, AI capabilities, automation, data-driven decisioning, and robust controls.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams, including business analysis, process design, AI/technology, risk, change, and testing across all phases.
  • Facilitate workshops to assess current-state processes, identify opportunities, co-create future-state solutions, and agree on delivery priorities.
  • Ensure transformation plans address adoption, governance, training, skills, controls, data readiness, and operational integration.
  • Support benefits measurement, tracking progress in areas like revenue growth, cost reduction, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and risk reduction.
  • Maintain delivery quality, mitigate risks, and ensure outputs are clear, practical, and actionable for senior decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

Design-Phase Delivery

  • Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, process reviews, data analysis, and opportunity assessments.
  • Draft problem statements, design principles, future-state journeys, process models, role impacts, and operating model changes.
  • Identify and prioritise AI use cases based on value, feasibility, risk, complexity, and organisational readiness.
  • Develop business cases and benefits models, quantifying impact across financial, customer, operational, and risk dimensions.
  • Define transformation roadmaps, MVP scope, delivery sequencing, plans, and adoption strategies.
  • Collaborate with AI, data, and technology specialists to ensure cost-effective, enterprise-aligned recommendations addressing architecture, data strategy, and controls.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
