The roadmap's blank. Yours to write.
A global law firm is hiring a Senior Manager, Innovation and AI to set its internal innovation technology strategy and build the roadmap the whole firm runs against.
You'd work alongside the Director of Innovation and Legal Transformation and the wider Innovation, Design and Technology team - people already shaping where legal AI goes next.
What you'd own
- Set the strategy. Build the roadmap, set the priorities, manage delivery against it.
- Scan the horizon. Track AI, automation and agentic AI, then turn what's coming into practical workflows.
- Build, don't just buy. Run proofs of concept and MVPs with developers and vendors. Judge the architecture, not the pitch.
- Keep it joined up. Work across IT, Knowledge, Risk and Cyber so strategy and delivery move together.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What good looks like
The firm shifts from adopting AI to creating it. Tools built, not just bought. Adoption that sticks. Do that across a firm this size and the impact compounds.
You'll fit if
- You've built with agentic AI - foundations, orchestration, real POCs, not just demos.
- You bring 7+ years in innovation, emerging tech or digital transformation. You've led technology strategy, roadmaps and horizon scanning.
- You're technically fluent - you can guide developers and read architecture. And you make complex tech clear to senior stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Legal sector experience. Familiarity with orchestration frameworks, workflow design, data engineering or integration patterns. Prior applied legal tech builds.
No law firm background? Read this. Some of the best innovation hires come from consulting, product, data or tech. Professional services experience counts more than legal. If you've built with AI and shipped it, you can adapt fast.
