Job Title: Senior Manager, Business Development (Ports & Terminals)

Location: London, UK

The Opportunity

Our client is a globally established player within the maritime digital and operational solutions space, now accelerating commercial growth across key international markets. As part of this evolution, they are investing in a senior business development professional to drive strategic growth across the Ports & Terminals sector throughout EMEA.

This role is focused on building long-term enterprise relationships across the maritime ecosystem, engaging with ports, terminals, logistics operators and related stakeholders to position solutions that support operational performance, efficiency, safety and resilience.

The business is open to a broader industry background than pure software or technology sales and is particularly interested in individuals with strong maritime domain expertise, commercial credibility and established industry networks.

The Impact You Will Have

  • Develop and grow relationships across ports, terminals and wider maritime logistics stakeholders throughout EMEA.
  • Identify and secure strategic commercial opportunities, driving long-term regional growth and partnership development.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder engagements across operational, commercial and executive-level functions.
  • Translate industry challenges including operational efficiency, disruption management, safety, ESG and documentation workflows into compelling business solutions.
  • Contribute market insight and customer feedback to leadership and product teams to help shape future commercial strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
