Northumberland have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager to join the team to shape and influence services for Cared For Children and Young People and Care Leavers.

We are looking for an exceptional leader to join our senior management team as Senior Manager overseeing our Cared For and Care Leavers teams.
This is a pivotal role with responsibility for leading and developing services for children and young people in our care, ensuring they receive the highest quality support, achieve positive outcomes and experience stability, safety and belonging.

About the role
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with an expectation that the postholder will regularly attend County Hall, Morpeth, alongside travel across Northumberland and engagement with partners and services as required.

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England, who has substantial senior leadership experience within Children's Services. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of driving service improvement, leading high-performing teams, delivering positive outcomes for children and young people, and working effectively within complex partnership environments.
