Join Our People Team

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Change & Employee Relations to join our People team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is a unique opportunity to play a strategic leadership role at the heart of organizational transformation, leading complex Employee Relations and change initiatives across multiple markets. You will partner with senior leaders to drive business-critical transformation programmes, shape our Employee Relations strategy, and ensure we continue to foster a fair, compliant, and values-led colleague experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Organisational Change & Transformation

  • Drive the people and Employee Relations aspects of major change programmes, including restructures, workforce transformation, operating model redesigns, and redundancy consultations.
  • Partner with business leaders to deliver successful organisational change while balancing commercial objectives, colleague experience, and legal compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate Employee Relations risks, develop change plans, and support effective stakeholder engagement throughout transformation initiatives.

Shape Employee Relations Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and implement a global Employee Relations strategy and roadmap aligned to business priorities and organisational values.
  • Lead the evolution of Employee Relations frameworks, policies, and governance to ensure consistency, compliance, and best practice across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex and high-risk ER matters, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, performance, conduct, absence, and executive-level cases.
  • Use data, insights, and market trends to proactively manage people risk and inform strategic decision-making.

Build Capability & Influence Leaders

  • Strengthen organisational capability by embedding scalable ER frameworks, tools, and self-service resources.
  • Coach and mentor senior leaders, managers, People Partners, and Advisors to build confidence and capability in managing people matters.
  • Design and deliver training on Employee Relations, employment law, and best practices.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on organisational change, employee relations, and employment legislation.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Significant Employee Relations experience, including leadership of complex and high-risk casework.
  • Proven experience leading organisational change, transformation, restructuring, and workforce programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and European employment legislation, consultation requirements, and Employee Relations best practice.
  • Experience operating across multiple European markets.
  • Demonstrated success delivering People projects from design through implementation and embedding.
  • Experience coaching senior stakeholders, managers, and HR/People professionals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, matrixed, and international organisation.
  • Experience supporting Works Councils, collective consultations, and employee representative bodies is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience within a global technology, consulting, or similarly complex organisation is highly desirable.
