About the Role

This end-to-end campaign execution role requires you to take a campaign brief from approval to market launch. You own the entire process: build the asset plan, sequence the work, extract SME insights, write engaging content, brief design and digital teams, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet Signant’s audience standards. This is a highly hands-on role, acting as the connective tissue across every function involved in a campaign.

Writing is at the core of this capability. You’ll produce high-impact narratives, including:

  • Landing pages
  • Paid ads
  • Emails and nurture sequences
  • White papers
  • Social content
  • Sales enablement assets
  • Video scripts

Signant’s audience consists of highly specialized stakeholders: clinical scientists, biostatisticians, VPs of Clinical Operations, and executive decision-makers managing complex global trials. Content must:

  • Stand up to expert scrutiny
  • Remain clear and accessible

You’ll also leverage AI to accelerate content creation while maintaining quality, ensuring content is optimized for AI-generated answers and traditional search.


What You Will Do

  • Campaign Orchestration:
    • Own end-to-end campaign execution: build asset plans, track progress, flag blockers, and ensure deliverables meet timeline and brief standards.
    • Act as a connective tissue across writers, design, digital, and subject matter experts (SMEs).

  • Creative Content Production:

    • Write the entire asset suite directly (blog posts, landing pages, ads, emails, white papers, social content, sales materials, video scripts) from a single brief.
    • Produce polished, publication-ready content with minimal delegation.
  • SME & Product Alignment:

    • Partner with the Product Marketing team to ensure campaigns align with product positioning and support go-to-market priorities.
    • Extract insights from SMEs efficiently—ask the right questions, validate technical accuracy, and translate complex claims into clear, non-specialist language.
  • Design & Digital Briefing:

    • Brief and coordinate design and digital partners, ensuring execution aligns with the campaign’s intent.
  • Strategic Prioritization:

    • Sequence and prioritize assets based on campaign KPIs and audience behavior, backed by clear logic.
  • Editorial Quality Control:

    • Maintain Signant’s editorial standards across all output, ensuring consistency and quality throughout the pipeline.
  • Content Reusability:

    • Build and maintain a pre-approved content library to enable rapid campaign assembly, minimizing redundant work.
  • AI & Search Optimization:

    • Structure content for AI discoverability using Attention Economy Optimization (AEO) to improve presence in AI-generated answers and zero-click search environments.
  • Performance Review & Adaptation:

    • Partner with the Digital Marketing team to evaluate campaign performance 4 weeks in, adjusting content and sequencing as needed.
    • Contribute to the monthly campaign metrics review.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Manage the Marketing Writers, providing clear direction, structured feedback, and acting as lead editor for externally published content.

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent demonstrated capability.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in B2B content marketing and campaign execution with end-to-end ownership across formats such as blogs, white papers, ads, emails, landing pages, and video.
  • Proven ability to own campaigns from brief to publish, organizing assets, coordinating cross-functional contributors, managing timelines, and delivering finished content without constant oversight.

Writing & Editing Skills:

  • Full-spectrum writing expertise across formats, producing clean, polished output independently.
  • Fluent in clinical/scientific language tailored to audiences like VP Clinical Operations, CMOs, biostatisticians, Principal Investigators, in regulated claims environments.

Project & SME Management:

  • Strong project management instincts—managing multiple priorities, dependencies, and trade-offs under time pressure.
  • Superior SME management skills, including structured interviews and technical content reviews without dictating editorial changes.

Sean’s SEO, AI & Data:

  • Practical use of AI tools as research and production aids with sound judgment on human oversight.
  • Ability to interpret campaign performance data and modify content sequencing accordingly.

Content Creativity & Strategy:

  • Sharp editorial instincts and unique points of view that engage audiences and align with their needs.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in life sciences, clinical research, health technology, or similarly complex/regulated industries.
  • Specifically, familiarity with eClinical trialing and content under expert clinical/scientific scrutiny where source attribution and commercial review are required.
  • Proficiency with SEO/AEO tools (e.g., Semrush, Ahrefs).
  • Exposed to generative AI tools as an everyday productivity-driven asset.
  • Experience managing or mentoring writers and contributing to shared editorial playbooks.
