Right now, we’re looking for a new colleague to join our Operations Team in the position of Senior Manager, Country Operations.
This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing the assigned Line of Business or Business Unit and its related operations for the EMEA Region.
Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
Full control, visibility and management of profitability for inbound, warehousing and customs Full visibility and control over inbound deliveries for all customers for all modes and types into Europe Responsibility for correct month end closing and accurate financial representation of the business executed Draw up proposals and make recommendations, work closely with Senior Management to develop functional plans that are optimally aligned with the Regional, Divisional and Corporate strategies and goals Effectively manage functional budgets and take appropriate actions to control and reduce costs and optimize investments Managing of staff office based on London, Rotterdam, Hamburg and Istanbul Managing and overseeing of a Backoffice team based in India

Qualifications
What we are looking for:
M inimum 15-20 years working experience in the logistics industry Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives In depth knowledge and experience in costing, invoicing and financial operational management In depth knowledge and experience of local Carrier, Forwarder and International Supply Chain flows Able to articulate complex supply chain topics, engage senior stakeholders and seek solutions Able to leverage technology or mobilize suitable stakeholders to implement solutions Highly data-driven and process-minded leader Fluency in English
