The Role: Senior Manager, Customer Value Engineering

This is a player-coach position cutting across Customer Success, Sales, Partnerships, and Product to deliver measurable enterprise outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Customer Boundaries:
    • Lead EMEA customer outcomes, focusing on retention, satisfaction, and growth, with a rigorous focus on high-risk, high-value accounts.
    • Stabilise and strengthen strategic relationships with durability minded expansion.

  • Team Leadership & Development:

    • Build and coach a small team of Customer Value Engineers, setting a new benchmark for rigour, customer obsession, and results.
  • Value Engineering Ownership:

    • Define and refine the methodology for quantifying ROI and translating products capabilities into compelling commercial cases.
    • Align with leadership to ensure clear forecasts, risk assessments, and accurate Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, Partnerships, and Product to ensure cohesion across the customer journey and scalability.
  • Strategic Customer Relationships:

    • Act as a credible economic allocator, guiding enterprise-level negotiations and steering multi-stakeholder accounts towards long-term success.

Core Experiences Needed

  • Proven track record in:
    • Customer Success, Customer Value Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Commercial Roles—with SaaS enterprise or commerce technology.
    • People leadership—building, coaching, and growing high-performing teams while managing your own high-impact portfolio.
  • Enterprise stakeholder gravitas across complex, multi-stakeholder scenarios—especially in underperforming or high-risk accounts.
