What You’ll Do

  • Own and continuously enhance an internal reporting solution that integrates key data sources into a unified database, providing bespoke visualizations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategically expand existing data sources to encompass all relevant marketing touchpoints throughout the campaign and product lifecycle, including brand awareness tracking, brand lift study results, new digital platforms, organic social performance, and content impact forecasting.
  • Collaborate closely with media and organic social agencies to optimize their data utilization, ensuring they deliver enhanced decision-making capabilities and valuable insights to the marketing team.
  • Conduct advanced correlation and regression analysis to pinpoint the most impactful metrics across diverse data sources and business areas, working with key partners to implement robust measurement frameworks and track performance against critical KPIs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the marketing team to scope new data projects, liaising with central data insights, data science, and data engineering teams to meticulously capture requirements and ensure project deliverables align with business needs.
  • Develop and lead the first-party data strategy across customer relationship management, web analytics, and organic social channels.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to establish clear first-party data retention, engagement, and enrichment objectives, leading regular reviews to analyze performance against these goals.
  • Work with the media agency to fully integrate first-party data into paid digital campaigns, optimizing audience targeting, lookalike modeling, and exclusions to maximize efficiencies and performance.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs to upskill team members on utilizing self-service reporting tools, thereby reducing reliance on external teams and accelerating the actioning of insights.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to ensure strict adherence to the latest guidelines for capturing and activating first-party data.
  • Work alongside data engineering to embed robust data governance procedures, maintaining the integrity and reliability of data used for insight generation.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Progressive experience in data management, analytics, and reporting.
  • Significant experience in strategically leveraging data to inform broader marketing and media activities.
  • Superior knowledge and strategic application of marketing capabilities such as data management platforms (DMPs) and demand-side platforms (DSPs), and other campaign tools.
  • Demonstrated skillset in strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with all levels of an organization.
  • Proven experience in gathering and interpreting complex business data and surfacing actionable insights.
  • Outstanding collaboration abilities, working effectively with internal teams, external agencies, and strategic partners.
  • Demonstrable expertise with a leading data visualization tool.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of data warehousing and integration tools.
  • Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL) for data manipulation.
