Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)
Salary: Up to £77,250 (Sheffield) / £90,125 (London) depending on experience
THE ROLE
In this role, you will lead the execution of venture capital and direct equity investments, supporting high-growth UK technology businesses across sectors including Life Sciences, AI, DeepTech and FinTech. You will negotiate and manage investment transactions, coordinate external advisers, support portfolio management activities, and work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders throughout the investment lifecycle.

You will contribute to the development of transaction processes and documentation, support portfolio monitoring and reporting activities, and help maximise value through effective investment execution and exit planning. You will also share your expertise with colleagues and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
You will be able to demonstrate experience negotiating and executing venture capital or equity financing transactions, an understanding of corporate governance and fundraising structures, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships. You will bring excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills, alongside experience working with legal advisers and navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. Experience in portfolio management and investment funds would be advantageous.
