HR Experience Process Designer

About the Role
The HR Experience Process Designer is a strategic role focused on shaping, redesigning, and optimizing key HR operational processes to enhance colleague experience and drive operational efficiency.
This cross-functional bridge between business needs and HR delivery teams ensures that HR processes are:
- Intuitive
- Scalable
- Fully aligned with organizational and strategic goals
The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in HR processes with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, bridging business units, HR operations, and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic redesign of core HR processes, including:
- Onboarding
- Offboarding
- Job changes
- Leave management
- Focus on experience improvement, efficiency, and compliance
- Translate business needs into clear HR operational requirements
- Ensure processes are fit for purpose and scalable
- Partner with HR Operations, HR Technology, and Business Stakeholders to co-create and implement process improvements
Co-Creation & Collaboration
- Facilitate workshops and design sessions to:
- Gather insights on pain points
- Map process flows
- Prototype new workflows
- Act as a thought leader in HR service design
- Incorporate external benchmarks and innovative practices
Process Documentation & Leadership
- Maintain and publish workflows, SOPs, and service delivery models
- Govern process maturity, adoption, and continuous improvement
- Monitor process performance and identify improvement opportunities
- drive standardization and optimization across HR processes and systems

What You’ll Need
Core Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in HR process design, HR operations, or HR transformation roles
- Strong expertise in end-to-end HR lifecycle processes
- Well-established reputation for successful stakeholder management across senior leadership
- Patent of process mapping with tools such as:
- Visio, Miro, Lucidchart
- Familiarity with HR technology platforms including:
- Workday
- SAP SuccessFactors
- ServiceNow HRSD
- Strong communication, facilitation, and analytical abilities
- Agile, design thinking, or lean organisational experience a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies
- Global/matrix organisation experience
