Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management to join our growing, London-based team of accomplished professionals in our dynamic, global business.
Reporting to our Director of Enterprise Risk Management, this is an exciting opportunity. You'll have the chance to add value, influence, and shape the roll-out of our updated Risk Management framework. Additionally, you'll promote a culture of risk awareness throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Facilitating and driving management discussions, decisions and strategies on risk at management and leadership meetings.
- Ensuring effective processes are in place to identify, manage, monitor and report on risks to which the organisation might be exposed, in line with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) strategy and principles.
- Raising awareness and articulating the benefits of ERM within Markets and Group Functions.
- Providing independent challenge on Market and Group Function risk registers particularly, the validity of the identified risk, their severity and the relevance of the controls and actions documented.
- Providing risk advice and support to individuals and teams, including advice on the application of the ERM process where required, and share top-down risk communications.
- Produce risk information for consideration by the Board, Audit & Risk Committee and Executive through collation, aggregation, calibration, and analysis.
- Develop and deliver ERM training when required.
- Help with the development and implementation of relevant IT and other systems to support the capture, analysis and reporting of risks and control effectiveness.
- Support the adoption and embedding of AI within ERM.

Qualifications
Do you have strong technical ERM skills and experience in a large international organisation or consultancy (preferably in a non-Financial Services setting)?
Are you passionate about the value that can be derived from embedding effective ERM?
Are you able to clearly communicate risk management concepts to non-experts in the field?
Do you have experience of designing and implementing most/all aspects of a good practice ERM framework, including:
- Conducting risk interviews and identifying key risks and internal controls?
- Developing key risk indicators suites?
- Practical articulation and operationalising risk appetite?
- Developing insightful risk reporting?
- Using numerous techniques to conduct risk analysis?
- Delivering impactful risk management training?
- Linking ERM to operational risk management activities (e.g. ESG, H&S etc) and other second line activities, such as resilience?
