Company: LEGO Group

Location: Billund, Denmark / London, United Kingdom

About The Role

LEGO Group is hiring a Senior Manager for ESG Compliance to shape how the company navigates global sustainability regulation, human rights due diligence, and corporate ESG governance.

This is not an operational sustainability role. It is a strategic compliance and policy leadership function embedded at the corporate level.

You will define how ESG regulations are interpreted, translated, and embedded into business operations across global supply chains and functions.

In simple terms: you turn regulation into execution, and execution into accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ESG compliance strategy across global operations
  • Interpret emerging regulations and convert them into internal frameworks
  • Build compliance roadmaps, policies, and governance structures
  • Oversee ESG regulatory initiatives (e.g., forced labour, deforestation regulations)
  • Ensure accountability across business units and supply chain functions
  • Advise procurement and legal teams on ESG obligations
  • Support cross-functional governance and steering committees
  • Monitor global ESG and human rights regulatory developments
  • Translate complex regulations into clear business guidance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why This Role Matters

Let’s be direct.

ESG compliance is where sustainability becomes enforceable, not optional.

At LEGO Group, this role sits inside the system that determines whether sustainability commitments are actually met or quietly ignored.

This is where regulation meets corporate reality, and where reputational risk, legal accountability, and ethical sourcing all converge.
