Join EY and help to build a better working world.

UKI Assurance - Capital Markets – Senior Manager

At EY, you’ll have the chance to build a career as unique as you are, with the global scale, support, inclusive culture and technology to become the best version of you. And we’re counting on your unique voice and perspective to help EY become even better, too. Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all.

Our EMEIA-wide Capital Markets Centre of Excellence provides a variety of assurance services to clients who are developing and executing transformational strategies, such as launching an initial public offering (IPO) in local markets or the USA, or implementing improvements to internal controls. We provide regulatory and reporting advice across all jurisdictions in international capital markets.

The Opportunity

This is a high-profile role working with some of the world's largest companies and offers an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to the dynamic world of international capital markets. The team has seen year on year double digit revenue growth and significant headcount increases to stake a claim as number one in its market.

Our rapidly growing UK and Ireland (UKI) Capital Markets practice is seeking qualified accountants to provide assurance services to clients. You will benefit from a truly global experience with exposure to cross-border transactions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the delivery of technical accounting advice projects across a range of clients, capital raising strategies, and locations across the EMEIA region
  • Producing and reviewing reports and analysis of accounting issues related to capital raising strategies and regulatory matters
  • Developing and expanding your own portfolio of assurance projects, taking responsibility for delivery of complex deadline-driven engagements, including internal control projects arising from UK Corporate Reform and transactions
  • Building strong relationships both within EY and with international clients as you help companies execute their cross-border transactions
  • Performance management and coaching of junior colleagues throughout the performance year

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
