ROLE SUMMARY:

An exciting Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner opportunity has arisen in LSEG’s Markets FX division.

Reporting to the division’s Finance Director, you will play an important role in commercial finance for the FX business, working closely with the FX leadership team, including the Head of Sales and Head of Product. LSEG FX operates the world’s largest electronic trading ecosystem which enables execution of over US$550 billion in daily trading volumes, connecting 2,400 buy-side institutions with over 200 global banks and liquidity providers across more than 100 countries.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Presentation and participation at recurring Sales and Product Forums, including Global Town Halls, Steering Committees and Weekly Sales Leadership Team meetings.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales commission process for individual sales staff, including preparing annual commission targets, calculating quarterly commissions, performing associated controls and ensuring accurate submission to the Sales & Account Management team for payment.
  • Significant advances have been made in simplifying the sales commissions process including transition from spreadsheet to databases for source information. Furthering simplification will be a key focus area.
  • The sales commission incentive structure and related calculations are evolving to encourage onboarding of new customers and business. Work closely with the leadership team to shape and implement proposed changes.
  • Review the Monthly and Quarterly Performance Review reports (including the Revenue Flash) prepared by the financial planning team, provide clear commentary and insights before circulating to the business.
  • Support the Product Team with strategic commercial initiatives, discounts and new product proposals.
  • Track commercial benefits relating to commercial initiatives and capital expenditure.
  • Lead compilation and system loading of divisional forecasts, budgets and multi-year plans and related presentations.
  • Monitor monthly operating expenditure and indirect overhead allocations. Track spend vs budget using waterfall and run rate charts. Influence business decisions to help them land spending targets.
  • Understand indirect overhead allocations from group, drivers and how they can be influenced or reduced.

SKILLS

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar) with extensive PQE.
  • Ability to coordinate, build strong working relationships and help team members grow.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, organisational, and project management abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill
  • Drive initiatives to conclusion.
