Position Overview
As Senior Finance Manager, you are a key leader responsible for the full finance scope, combining financial controlling, statutory compliance, and advanced commercial finance partnering.
Reporting to the Finance Director Commercial Europe, you will act as a strategic business partner to the Commercial organization and Leadership Team, driving profitable growth through robust financial planning, Gross-to-Net (GTN) management, and performance insight.
This role blends strategic influence and hands-on execution, with ownership of financial performance, compliance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance Business Partnering
- Act as a core member of the Country Leadership Team, contributing to business strategy and decision-making
- Partner closely with Sales, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Marketing, HR, and Commercial Strategy
- Provide actionable financial insights to drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and ROI optimization
- Support and challenge commercial teams on pricing, promotions, trade investment, and customer strategy
- Lead financial input into strategic and transformation projects
Commercial Finance & GTN Management
- Own and oversee Gross-to-Net (GTN) analysis, including trade spend, discounts, and promotional investments
- Contribute to the development and review of customer and channel P&Ls
- Ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance of GTN reporting
- Deliver post-event analysis on commercial initiatives and promotions

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Controlling
- Own the full P&L for the French entity, including Revenue, COGS, Brand support, and OPEX
- Lead budget, rolling forecasts, and long-term planning processes
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly closing and management reporting
- Analyze performance vs. plan/prior year and drive corrective actions
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPIs
- Provide in-depth variance analysis and performance commentary
- Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and reporting processes
Statutory, Accounting & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) and Group IFRS
- Act as primary contact for auditors
- Ensure effective internal control environment and risk management framework, including credit limit risks (Coface insurance)
- Monitor impacts on P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Oversee cash flow and working capital management, including DSO optimization & inventory turn over
- Supervise payroll-related financial aspects in coordination with HR
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with FP&A, GBS, Supply Chain, and Group Finance teams
- Align financial plans with operational and commercial strategies
- Contribute to regional and global finance initiatives
- Support business case development for investments and strategic initiatives
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and develop the Finance team
- Foster a performance-driven, collaborative culture
- Coach team members and support capability building
- Drive process standardization and efficiency improvements
Process Improvement & Data Governance
- Improve financial tools, reporting systems, and dashboards
- Enhance data quality, governance, and transparency
- Support system implementation or upgrades (ERP, planning tools)
- Identify and implement efficiency and automation opportunities
Qualifications & Experience

- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- MBA or equivalent is a plus
