Senior Manager, Global Internal Audit Business Partner (12 Months Maternity Cover – July 2026)
As Senior Manager, Global Internal Audit Business Partner, you will be the global owner of our internal audit and risk management platform, Optro, overseeing system configuration, managing access rights, and continuously enhancing its functionality. The role spans audit strategy, performance reporting, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement, ensuring the organisation operates with strong risk controls and compliance.
About the Role
The Senior Manager, Global Internal Audit Business Partner plays a pivotal role in maintaining Chanel’s risk management and audit integrity. You will be responsible for:

Optro Platform Leadership
- Act as the global owner of Optro, overseeing configuration, access governance, and tool optimisation.
- Continuously enhance functionality to align with evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.

Training and Adoption
- Develop and deliver comprehensive user training, including large-scale sessions and personalised coaching for senior leaders to ensure effective adoption and utilisation.
- Drive cross-functional training partnerships to align internal audit, risk management, and business operations.

Audit and Risk Reporting
- Design and build tailored dashboards for global, regional, and divisional stakeholders to monitor outstanding actions and aged issues.
- Coordinate follow-ups on global audit findings, ensuring timely remediation and consistent reporting across all business units and legal entities.
- Validate remediation efforts through rigorous testing methodologies to confirm the closure of action plans.

Executive and Management Reporting
- Prepare high-quality management reports and dashboards for the Audit Committee, providing updates on audit progress, issue status, and emerging risk themes.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Head of Internal Audit & Risk Management to create executive-level presentations and materials for leadership and board audiences.
- Leveraging data analytics and visualisation, extract insights and communicate risk trends effectively.

Strategic Initiative Support
- Contribute to business pilot programs and research emerging technologies to enhance audit and risk management practices.
- Support specialised audit reviews as required, ensuring operational effectiveness and strategic alignment.

Requirements
Experience in Internal Audit and Risk Management
- Proven expertise in internal audit, internal control, and risk management, ideally in an international environment.
- Strong ability to analyse processes, identify risks, and propose practical, tailored solutions.
- Experience in the retail, consumer goods, or luxury sectors is highly valued.
Technical Proficiency
- Experience in managing leading complex system rollouts, including anticipating and mitigating obstacles.
- Proficiency in developing data visualisations and dashboards (preferably using PowerBI and Sigma) to communicate complex findings.
- Prior exposure to Optro (formerly AuditBoard) or equivalent global risk and control systems is advantageous but not essential.

- Exceptional data analytical skills with the capacity to derive meaningful insights from datasets to inform strategic decisions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information to all levels of stakeholders in a compelling manner.
Credentials
- Professional qualifications such as:
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
- Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA)
- Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
- Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (**CIMA`) are highly regarded.
