The Digital & AI practice helps clients unlock value at scale from technology, data and AI. The practice marketing team partners with leadership to shape how Bain shows up in the market across campaigns, thought leadership, events and strategic partnerships.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing – Digital & AI Ecosystem to support the development and delivery of strategic co-marketing programmes across Bain’s portfolio of Digital and AI ecosystem partnerships (e.g. cloud hyperscalers, SaaS and data platforms, AI/ML partners, strategic tech alliances).
You Will
- Contribute to the development of integrated partnership marketing programmes, leading the execution of agreed co-marketing initiatives with Digital & AI ecosystem partners
- Collaborate with Bain’s Business Development (BD) team, who manage our priority partner relationships, to translate strategic priorities into distinctive, high-impact joint marketing programmes that build authority, strengthen partner relationships and drive measurable commercial outcomes
- Coordinate and scale initiatives across practice, sector, regional and firmwide marketing teams
This role is ideal for a senior B2B marketer with tech / cloud / data / AI alliance experience, strong stakeholder and project management skills and the ability to operate in a global, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & planning
- Develop and drive integrated joint marketing programmes across each of our priority Digital & AI ecosystem partners, ensuring alignment with joint strategic objectives and practice growth priorities
- Collaborate with BD team to translate strategic objectives into compelling joint value propositions, narratives and go-to-market strategies
- Proactively identify opportunities to amplify and reinforce our joint value to maximise market impact e.g. priority use cases and ‘hero’ case studies and events
- Lead joint planning and performance reviews of marketing initiatives with ecosystem partners and BD

Partner, BD & stakeholder leadership
- Act as the primary marketing point of contact for BD and ecosystem partners’ marketing and alliance teams
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to BD, shaping marketing priorities and ensuring marketing investment aligns to partnership and practice goals
- Align practice, sector, regional and firmwide marketing teams around ecosystem initiatives to ensure consistency and scalability
Programme development & execution
- Develop and execute integrated joint marketing programmes with BD and ecosystem partners including campaigns, flagship events, thought leadership and client storytelling that showcase our combined strengths
- Manage the pipeline of joint case studies, working with BD, ecosystem partners and client teams to identify, shape and bring stories to market
- Develop and scale joint marketing assets and sales enablement materials that clearly articulate our combined strengths
- Proactively identify opportunities to scale successful programmes globally and across sectors
Performance, optimization & ways of working
- Track KPIs across each partnership marketing plan and lead regular performance reviews with BD and ecosystem partners to assess impact and optimise activity where needed
- Contribute to the development of best practices, templates and playbooks for ecosystem marketing across the firm

Experience & Qualifications
- 7-10 years’ experience in B2B marketing, ideally with exposure with partner / alliance / ecosystem marketing within technology, cloud, SaaS, data or AI environments
- Proven track record of designing and executing joint marketing programmes including joint events, campaigns, high-impact content that drive brand impact and commercial results
- Experience working closely with BD / sales teams and supporting co-sell motions and commercial goals
- Experience operating in global, matrixed organisations, ideally across professional services and / or technology firms
- Strong understanding of B2B tech marketing (content, digital, events, ABM, partner marketplaces and co-sell motions)
- Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to guide prioritisation and decision-making
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident crafting narratives on complex Digital & AI topics

- Digital & AI fluent: understands (or can rapidly learn) core concepts in cloud, data and AI, and turn them into clear marketing facing narratives
- Strategic and commercially minded: connects partner and BD strategy, practice priorities and marketing activity to tangible business outcomes
- Relationship-led: builds trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders internally (especially BD / sales) and externally within partner organisations
- Execution-strong, collaborative and adaptable: organised, low-ego, comfortable running multiple complex programmes simultaneously, getting ‘in the weeds’ immediately and delivering at pace
- Comfortable with ambiguity: thrives in a fast-moving, evolving landscape
