Senior Manager, Health & Safety – EMEA
Department: Loss Prevention
Reports To: Vice President, Global Loss Prevention, Security & Safety
Location: London, England

You are an experienced Health & Safety professional with strong operational and regional expertise across EMEA. You are:

What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership & Compliance
- Lead implementation and ongoing development of the Health & Safety Management System across EMEA, aligned with ISO 45001 and continuous improvement principles
- Support execution of H&S strategy across EMEA, merging global frameworks with regional regulatory needs
- Drive compliance through inspection, audit, and monitoring programmes in office, retail, and distribution environments
- Monitor and implement health & safety legislation across EMEA, ensuring local policies and procedures reflect regional requirements
- Act as the key EMEA contact for external stakeholders (regulators, consultants, and service providers)

Incident & Risk Management
- Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up actions, identifying trends and sharing lessons learned
- Produce regular H&S performance reports for leadership, tracking:
- KPIs
- Risks
- Improvement actions
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with HR and business leaders on health, safety, and wellbeing (including individual risk assessments)
- Collaborate with Store Development, Construction, and Facilities teams for safe store openings, refurbishments, and projects
Training & Development
- Identify training needs and deliver H&S training programmes to build capability across EMEA
- Manage small regional H&S teams and external client relationships
Additional Duties
- Support insurance and claims processes (loss adjuster coordination, documentation)
- Proactively identify risks and hazards; recommend practical control measures
- Contribute to global H&S initiatives as required
You’ll Need to Have
- Degree or equivalent experience
- NEBOSH Diploma (or international equivalent)
- Chartered Member of IOSH (or working towards) / equivalent experience
- Strong working knowledge of health & safety legislation across EMEA, particularly:
- Retail environments
- Office settings
- Experience conducting:
- H&S audits (aligned with ISO 45001)
- Implementing corrective action plans
- Experience managing third-party providers and consultants
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Proficiency in MS Office

- Experience working in a multi-country EMEA environment
- Strong influencing skills and ability to drive change across stakeholder groups
- Experience working with:
- Enforcement agencies
- Insurers
- External auditors
- Clear, concise communication; ability to translate technical topics into practical actions
