Mode Search are partnering with a global luxury fashion group in their search for a Senior Manager, Health & Safety – EMEA.
This is a strategic regional role responsible for leading Health & Safety across multiple markets throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Reporting to the Global Head of Loss Prevention, Security & Safety, the successful candidate will drive the regional Health & Safety strategy, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and the continued development of a positive safety culture across retail stores, offices and distribution environments.
Working closely with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams, this role offers the opportunity to influence business-wide initiatives while leading regional projects across a complex international organisation.
The Role
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the regional Health & Safety Management System, aligned with ISO 45001 standards
- Drive Health & Safety strategy across the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with both global policies and local legislation
- Develop and manage audit, inspection and compliance programmes across retail stores, offices and distribution centres
- Monitor legislative changes across multiple countries, implementing policies and procedures where required
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action plans
- Produce regular Health & Safety reporting, KPI analysis and risk updates for senior leadership
- Partner with HR and business leaders on wellbeing initiatives, risk assessments and occupational health matters
- Support insurance claims, incident management and liaison with insurers and external stakeholders
- Work closely with Store Development, Construction and Facilities teams on new store openings, refurbishments and office projects
- Identify training requirements and support the delivery of Health & Safety training programmes across the region
- Build strong relationships with regulators, consultants and third-party providers
- Manage regional Health & Safety resources and external partners while supporting wider global initiatives

Requirements

- Significant Health & Safety experience within a multi-site, international environment
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation across EMEA markets
- Experience implementing and managing ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management Systems
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent international qualification)
- Chartered IOSH status, or working towards, preferred
- Experience conducting audits, inspections and implementing corrective action plans
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
- Experience managing external providers, consultants and regulatory bodies
- Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills
- Fluent English required
- Experience within luxury retail, retail, hospitality or a similarly fast-paced consumer environment would be advantageous
London offices - 3 days a week
