We are seeking an experienced professional to join our **Group Investigative Reporting team in the role of Senior Manager, Investigative Reporting.
You will report to the Group Head of Investigations Oversight, contributing expertise to develop procedures, training, and optimisation initiatives while addressing procedural, efficiency, and quality issues collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic direction for procedures, training, and optimisation initiatives, working alongside the Group Head of Investigations Oversight.
- Proactively identify and resolve procedural, efficiency, and quality issues in a timely, solutions-focused manner.
- Foster collaborative working relationships with:
- Investigations Centre of Excellence (COE) leadership
- Global Business representatives
- Colleagues across Investigations, Optimisation, Investigative Tooling, and FC/FCI Education teams
- Maintain regular communication with FCI Group, Regional, and Market colleagues to assess potential impacts of change initiatives across all stakeholders.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with subject-matter investigations expertise, contributing to:
- Development and delivery of training, including designing case studies and assessing investigations casework.
- Updatable procedures based on identified priority training requirements.
- Communication materials supporting high-quality investigations.
- Data-driven training evaluation, identifying key successes and areas for improvement for continuous enhancement.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and propose enhancements using metrics from multiple data sources.

Essential Requirements
To excel in this role, you should demonstrate:
✔ Leadership in complex, multi-jurisdictional stakeholder management, navigating diverse expectations across geographies. ✔ Comprehensive knowledge of financial crime investigations (desirable). ✔ Understanding and experience with Financial Crime systems (preferred but not essential). ✔ Experience in risk and control management, ideally secured in a 2nd or 3rd Line of Defence (LOD) function. ✔ Strong managerial and strategic problem-solving skills, able to identify opportunities for improvement and communicate actionable solutions. ✔ Multi-disciplinary adaptability, balancing competing priorities and frameworks in a dynamic global workplace. ✔ Disciplined analytical, organisational, and delivery skills, with the ability to resourcefully solve complex challenges. ✔ Exceptional written communication with meticulous attention to detail.
