Are you a commercially driven people leader with a passion for building lasting broker relationships and driving strategic growth?

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Key Accounts (SME) to join our Distribution team and play a pivotal role in growing our SME portfolio across Key Accounts. The Opportunity

In this highly visible leadership role, you'll be responsible for delivering new business growth and expanding existing SME business within Key Accounts, with a particular focus on Preferred Provider Arrangements (PPAs).

You'll lead the strategy, retention and development of key PPA relationships, working closely with senior brokers, internal stakeholders, and your team to drive sustainable, profitable growth. Alongside commercial accountability, you'll play an important role in developing talent, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver and exceed individual and team sales targets in line with annual business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with senior broker partners.
  • Support and shape Key Accounts strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and market development.
  • Retain, develop and grow significant Preferred Provider Arrangements (PPAs) sustainably and profitably.
  • Collaborate with the wider Distribution leadership team to develop a high-performing sales culture.
  • Coach, mentor and develop team members, ensuring high professional standards and career progression.
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver a seamless experience for brokers and clients.
  • Contribute to business-wide projects, initiatives and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Support the ongoing delivery of Distribution Development Plan principles.
  • Champion regulatory, governance and customer-focused frameworks, including Consumer Duty, Treating Customers Fairly and Risk Management requirements.
  • Act as a role model for company values, leadership behaviours and professional standards.

About You

We're looking for an experienced sales leader who combines strong commercial acumen with exceptional relationship-building and coaching skills.

You'll Bring

  • Significant experience within the employee benefits, insurance or financial services industry.
  • Proven people management experience, with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and broker partners.
  • Excellent business, technical and product knowledge.
  • Understanding of adjacent products, markets and services.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and insight to drive performance improvements.
  • Experience holding teams accountable while creating an engaging and supportive culture.
  • The ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and growth.
