About the Role

As a Senior Manager in the Workforce & Organisation practice, with a focus on Workforce Transformation, you’ll work with clients across diverse industries, from Government and Financial Services to Retail, Life Sciences, Telecommunications, and Energy & Utilities. Your role will involve addressing critical challenges around:

  • Future skills and talent strategies
  • Organisational culture
  • Technology and automation’s impact on the workforce

Leveraging your consulting expertise, you’ll lead teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that drive meaningful and enduring change.

You’ll take an active role in shaping and delivering complex transformation programmes, guiding clients from strategy through implementation. As a trusted advisor, you’ll:

  • Influence senior stakeholders
  • Oversee cross-functional teams
  • Ensure innovative yet practical solutions
  • Help organisations navigate disruption and build resilient, future-ready workforces

This is an exciting opportunity to grow alongside a rapidly expanding Workforce Transformation team within Capgemini Invent. Key Opportunities

  • Shape the strategic direction of workforce transformation programmes, influencing C-suite stakeholders and driving enterprise-wide change.
  • Take ownership of complex client engagements, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver groundbreaking, impactful solutions that redefine the future of work.
  • Play a key role in developing and refining service offerings by bringing market insights and thought leadership to strengthen industry position.
  • Build and nurture transformative client relationships, uncovering expansion opportunities and guiding clients through change journeys with credibility.
  • Contribute to the growth of an inclusive, high-performing team, while mentoring leaders, creating collaboration, and reinforcing our culture of excellence and innovation.

Growth Areas

In this role, you will also contribute to:

  • Business Development: Lead proposal crafting, RFP responses, bids, pitching strategies, and event hosting.
  • Internal Contributions: Drive campaign development, foster internal thinking, produce whitepapers, manage practice development and team engagement.
  • Learning & Development: Access training and certifications to align with your career progression and evolving business demands.

Requirements

As a Senior Manager in Workforce Transformation, you’ll bring 10+ years of consulting or relevant industry experience, with at least 2 years in a management consulting setting. You’ll be prepared to lead complex, large-scale transformation projects for major organisations while supporting business development and practice growth alongside a team of agile problem-solvers with deep consulting acumen. Together, you’ll help clients overcome their most pressing workforce challenges—from strategic planning to execution.

Key Areas of Expertise

Your proficiency in the following areas is essential:

  • Workforce Learning and Transformation Programs: Experience leading large-scale initiatives with a proven capability to enhance client engagement and expand successful project scope.
  • AI & Learning Ecosystems: Sound experience and best practices in harnessing AI within learning frameworks and systems.
  • Learning Technology: Proven expertise in implementing learning technology effectively.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to manage dynamic teams and busy workstreams, while fostering team development, mentoring, and skill-building.
  • Business Development: Track record in growing revenue (ideally driving over £1m per year) through new business development in market strategies and advisory services across diverse functions.
  • Thought Leadership: A reputation as a brandFace and industry influencer, securing speaking engagements at conferences, publishing thought-provoking research, and facilitating multi-client roundtables.
  • People Strategy & Workforce Analytics: Delivered technology-driven workforce transformation projects, including experience with People Strategy, Skills-Based Organisation, Competency Frameworks, Digital Skills Academies, Learner Experience, Learning Management Systems, People Analytics, Workforce Planning Tools, and Business Intelligence Tools.
  • Organisational Culture & Digital Transformation: Managed end-to-end cultural transformations, including adaptations in operating models (e.g., agile, hybrid working).
