DESCRIPTION:

As a Senior Manager of Product Specialists at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of Technical Sales Specialists (TSS) across EMEA. You will guide business growth, meet revenue targets, and ensure customer satisfaction through innovative solutions and technical expertise. Working in a collaborative matrix environment, you will partner with sales, marketing, product management, and other cross-functional teams to implement commercial strategies and develop market opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Masters Degree plus 12 years of progressive commercial experience in life sciences, analytical instruments, or related industry
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or related scientific field
  • 3+ years of people management experience leading teams in a matrix environment
  • Deep understanding of LSMS scientific workflows, applications, and customer needs in relevant markets
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and guiding business growth
  • Strong strategic planning and business acumen with ability to analyse market trends
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and sales operations processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage at all levels
  • Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and developing successful teams
  • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships across functions
  • Experience implementing commercial strategies and tactical business plans
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Travel up to 50% as required
  • Technical expertise in relevant product portfolios and applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and business intelligence tools
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
  • Solution-focused with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
