The Team
Within A&M, a specialist team was established in EMEA to provide Quantum, Delay and Technical expert witness and advisory services to the Construction industry. The Construction Disputes team supports clients within the construction industry and work with law firms to provide expert advisory and/or witness support in construction claims and dispute matters.
Our team of experts have proven track records and highly respected in their fields. Our experts have testified across the globe on many of the largest quantum, delay, engineering and commercial damages matters.

How You Will Contribute
We are looking for a Quantum and Delay specialists to work closely with our Construction leaders on arbitration and adjudication work nationally and across EMEA. You will:
- Provide specialist expert quantum / delay opinion and contractual advice in all aspects of construction delay and disruption matters
- Prepare analysis and expert reports for complex, high value arbitration and litigation proceedings
- Prepare expert testimony on dispute matters as required and work towards providing expert testimony in a live legal context
- Work with the Delay / Quantum expert team on disputes and business development and management.
The successful appointees will play a key part in the further development of the practice, with emphasis on thought leadership as well as practice and business development.
Qualifications
You must have experience of large scale, complex construction disputes and be experienced in litigation and arbitration procedures. Ideally, you will be working in Delay / Quantum in a similar Construction Disputes business and have a blend of the following experience:
- Assessing and quantifying contractual claims and working in the construction industry
- Performing detailed Quantum forensic analysis and comfortable handling large data sets
- Drafting technical and expert reports, and proposals and white papers
- Producing clear concise opinions on matters in dispute leading to the production of CPR 35 compliant reports
- Understanding all methods of alternative dispute resolution.
