What will you be doing?
We are seeking a Senior Manager, MI & Transformation to join our Client Onboarding team in Birmingham.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping the future of the client onboarding through management information, operational insight, data governance, and transformation.
Reporting into the Head of Client Onboarding - Operations and Strategy, the role is responsible for:
- Leading the firm's MI capability while driving operational excellence, technology adoption, and strategic change across end-to-end onboarding lifecycle.
- Delivering end-to-end ownership of management information, executive reporting, KPI and KRI frameworks, Power BI development, and data governance across the Client Onboarding function.
- Acting as the primary liaison with central Data and Technology teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and scalability is applied across the Client onboarding and the KYC department.
- Being responsible for identifying, leading, and delivering transformation initiatives across the onboarding and KYC lifecycle, including process redesign, AI automation opportunities, operational efficiency programs, and strategic change projects.
- Having line management responsibility for MI Analysts, Data Analysts, Project resources, or other support colleagues as the function evolves.

Job Description
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Significant experience in operational MI, business intelligence, data analytics, or transformation roles.
- Advanced Power BI development and dashboard design experience, Advanced Excel, and data visualization skills.
- Strong understanding of KPI, KRI, SLA, and performance management frameworks.
- Experience establishing and managing data governance and data quality controls.
- Proven ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insight.
- Experience leading business transformation and operational improvement programs.
Desirable Experience
- Strong project and change management skills.
- Strong knowledge of Client Onboarding, KYC, CDD, AML, or operational risk processes preferred.
- Experience working with Power Platform.
- Experience managing teams and developing colleagues.
