Saputo

At Saputo, we bring good to the table by making high-quality products, investing in our people, and supporting communities around the world. As a top 10 global dairy processor, we value contributions that matter and strive to foster an inclusive, growth-driven work environment. Ready to bring your best?

SDUK's brands include the Nation’s favourite cheese brand Cathedral City plus other well-known butter & spreads (Clover, Country Life, Vitalite, Utterly Butterly), functional ingredients and dairy-free products.

We are looking to hire a Senior Manager, Operational Technology (OT) to be based at our site, with responsibility for all five of our UK production sites – within this role, you will be leading the function to provide secure, resilient, and dependable operational technologies and services that enable manufacturing capability, optimise our operations, and underpin our customer commitments.

You will lead a team of five direct reports across infrastructure, applications, and cyber security to foster a collaborative and high-performing culture to identify and drive improvement opportunities in areas including obsolescence and operational efficiency.

As a 24/7 production business, some OOH support may be required. We’ll look to you to identify and deploy opportunities to deliver cross-functional support to remove these requirements.

YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…

  • Conducting regular performance reviews, setting objectives, and providing ongoing developmental feedback to team members
  • Managing and maintaining all infrastructure (PCs, servers, HMIs, network devices etc.) to support the industrial control systems across our sites
  • Managing and maintaining industrial control applications across all sites, including (but not limited to) operational efficiency, quality, labelling and reporting
  • Ensuring the safety, reliability, and availability of all OT assets, including the deployment of the latest anti-virus and software patches to comply with security standards and alignment to NIST, IEC 62443, and GDPR frameworks
  • Implementing and maintaining robust cyber security measures to protect OT systems from threats and vulnerabilities
  • Developing and executing the OT strategy to oversee the deployment and integration of OT systems and technologies to optimise manufacturing processes and bolster reliability
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations through the effective use of OT solutions
  • Leading and managing the major OT projects from conception to completion
  • Preparing and managing OT OPEX and CAPEX budgets, ensuring tracking, reporting and effective allocation of resources
  • Overseeing the collection, analysis, and utilisation of data across all OT systems to inform decision-making
  • Developing and implementing response plans for highly complex OT-related incidents, leading the team participation in crisis drills to ensure rapid and effective resolutions and minimising operational impact

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
