Your new role:
In this role, you will shape and lead the organisation's operational insights strategy, transforming data into meaningful intelligence that improves performance, safety and efficiency. You will bring together data from multiple sources to provide a clear view of operational performance, develop advanced analytics and predictive insights, and present complex information in a way that enables confident, data-driven decision making at every level of the business.
You will drive a high-performance culture by designing and evolving enterprise-wide KPIs, dashboards and performance frameworks that support accountability and continuous improvement. Working closely with stakeholders across Operations, Safety, Finance, IT and Compliance, you will identify opportunities to improve performance, influence business priorities and lead analytics-driven initiatives that deliver measurable operational improvements.

A successful candidate will also build and inspire a high-performing analytics and business intelligence team, championing best practice in data visualisation, insight generation and storytelling. As a trusted partner to senior leaders, you will influence strategic decision making, promote the adoption of data and analytics across the organisation, and help embed a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
About you:
Essential:
- Undergraduate degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven and progressive experience in data analytics, with a focus on analytics, operations, or performance management; aviation industry experience preferred.
- Strong leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Experience supporting complex operational environments preferred.
Additional knowledge & skills:
- Advanced proficiency in analytics and business intelligence tools, including Python, SQL, Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong understanding of KPI development, performance management systems and operational metrics.
- Excellent executive communication, presentation and data storytelling capabilities.
- Experience leading cross-functional transformation and change initiatives.
- Knowledge of data governance, automation and emerging analytics technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to financial and operational outcomes.
