Our People Consulting professionals assist our clients in successfully managing and sustaining people, process and/or technology change. This may include the HR technology assessments, process design & transformation, vendor assessment & selection, defining target operating models, assessing HCM and WFM implementation readiness, solution implementation and post-implementation optimization.
We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our rapidly growing Total Workforce Management practice.
To qualify, candidates must have:
- A related bachelor's degree
- Approximately 10+ years' experience in consulting or as Workforce Management or Payroll Business Owner
- Experience leading teams that guide clients through complex business problems, providing solution oversight that influences executive stakeholders
- Experience leading business transformation, process design, enhancements and roadmaps of change
- Experience driving client discussions – requirements gathering, user stories/test scenario creation, solution configuration, lead/support testing and drive deployment
- A track-record of delivering end-to-end transformation, including operating model, technology and process changes
- Demonstrated experience in driving transformation project management, leading teams through multi-layered complex implementations
- Ability to work through a problem with limited information and demonstrates an approach to take a problem or situation to the next steps
- Demonstrated experience in designing and providing post-implementation support to clients
- Demonstrated experience of building and leading diverse teams within a matrix management organisation
- Flexibility and ability to travel - on short notice if needed to meet client needs

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex HR technology and WFM implementation concepts
- Lead strategic workforce transformation programmes, helping clients define target operating models, business cases and long-term workforce management and payroll strategy
- Deliver quality services. Value and model excellent client service by establishing goals and implementation plans to achieve high quality deliverables within expected timeframes and budget. Monitor progress, manage risk, and confirm key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with client executive teams. Focus on deliverables and client business priorities. Manage expectations of service. Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers and business trends
- Drive competency business growth through sales opportunities and business development. Lead and contribute to proposal development activities, including solution design, commercial inputs, staffing approaches and client presentations.
- Drive the development of market offerings, methodologies, accelerators and intellectual property that strengthen the Total Workforce Management capability.
- Demonstrate high levels of WFM/Payroll technical and professional understanding and represent the practice through thought leadership, client events, industry forums and market-facing activities
- Develop people. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/training. Foster an innovative and team-oriented work environment
- Develop long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with other Ernst & Young team members to serve client needs
- Own quality risk management and take the lead in forecasting budget, managing team capacity and resources in line with forecasts and baseline plans.

- High levels of motivation, curiosity and a self-starting attitude. Ability to challenge thought processes in a productive outcome-based way.
