Senior Manager, Performance Marketing Strategy and Planning (Maternity Cover)

Job Summary: Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid) Division: Ticketmaster International Line Manager: Associate Director, Performance Marketing Strategy and Planning Working Hours: Maternity Cover until February 2027, Full-Time THE TEAM Ticketmaster International, a Live Nation Entertainment company, is currently seeking a highly motivated, exceptionally data-oriented and strategic Senior Manager Performance Marketing Strategy and Planning, (Maternity Cover) to join the International Marketing team immediately until February 2027. The Performance Marketing team is part of the International Marketing department at Ticketmaster. Our team leads on marketing strategy and best practice for all main paid and organic traffic sources across 35+ markets globally. We support each market with guidance on campaign activation, reporting and measurement to make sure fans around the world find the tickets they are looking for and clients receive the highest return on their investment with us. THE JOB Reporting to the Associate Director, Performance Marketing Strategy and Planning, this role will lead cross-channel paid media strategy and automation across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC. The position is focused on driving efficiency, scalability, and measurable performance improvements across paid search, paid social, and programmatic channels. You will translate business priorities into data-driven investment strategies, ensuring paid media budgets are optimally allocated across markets and inventory types (e.g.: Resale, VIP). Supporting as the central point of contact for regional leadership and finance, you will guide investment decisions, performance trade-offs, and long-term automation planning. You will support your manager to assess local paid budget allocation and agency partnerships. Working closely with channel leads, finance, and product teams, you will define clear pathways to improve campaign effectiveness and scale automation capabilities. This includes expanding paid marketing automation into new LATAM and APAC markets, as well as introducing additional inventory types across established EMEA markets. Your understanding of performance marketing will inform automation solutions that deliver both immediate impact and sustainable growth. You will also partner with SEO and CRM teams to optimise the balance between paid and organic channels, maximising efficiency and incremental growth across the customer journey. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, analytical rigour, and the ability to turn complex performance data into a clear strategic direction. You will continuously test, refine, and codify best practices to elevate campaign efficiency and automation maturity across international markets, operating effectively in a fast-paced, global environment. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Own the cross-channel plan: Build clear roadmaps for channel diversification, budget allocation and performance targets by market, inventory type and sub-category (e.g., West End, VIP packages). Drive measurable performance: Support the setting and monitor regional targets; guide campaign execution with a test-and-learn framework that improves efficiency and incrementality across paid search, paid social and programmatic. Deliver profitability at scale: Partner with global and local finance stakeholders to understand margin mix by market and inventory to guide strategic paid investment across EMEA, APAC and LATAM. The goal is to move away from averages and find where to best invest. Enable automation at scale: Partner with global Product/Engineering to unlock and roll out paid marketing automation across markets, balancing short-term impact with long-term scalability. Lead quarterly business reviews: Present cross-channel performance, insights and recommendations to local marketing leads and senior stakeholders. Champion measurement & reporting: Collaborate with MarTech and Insight teams on attribution and reporting that surfaces market-level insights and informs investment decisions. Upskill and influence: Provide guidance and best practices to regional teams; evaluate agency partnerships where relevant. Scan the market: Monitor competitor/industry trends, platform changes and emerging channels to inform investment strategy and measurement to ensure our efficiency at scale in a marketplace that is constantly becoming more competitive. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS) Deep performance marketing experience managing large, complex inventories and marketplaces Hands-on automation expertise in paid search or social, with a track record of building automated workflows that improve scale and efficiency. Budget ownership of multi-million-dollar paid media portfolios, with evidence of delivering growth and ROI through data-driven decisions and strong financial acumen. Platform & tooling fluency: advanced analytical skills using tools such as Excel, Google Analytics and DOMO. Project leadership: Strong prioritisation and program management, balancing near-term delivery with long-term initiatives. Experimentation mindset: Solid grasp of testing design and analysis to advance channel capabilities and infrastructure.
