About the Role
Not every procurement leadership role offers the chance to influence strategy, develop people, build strong supplier partnerships and genuinely shape the future of a global luxury brand.
This one does.
At Aston Martin, we're on an exciting journey. As we continue to evolve and grow, we're looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. While the contract has a defined duration, the impact you can make during that time is significant.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the business. Someone who can think strategically while staying connected to the day-to-day realities of procurement. Someone who is naturally curious, enjoys solving complex challenges and gets real satisfaction from developing people and building strong relationships.
You'll lead a team of Buyers, Senior Buyers and Procurement Managers, providing direction, support and coaching while helping to create an environment where people can do their best work. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, influencing decisions, driving supplier performance and ensuring our procurement strategy continues to support Aston Martin's ambitious plans.
We're not looking for someone who simply follows the process. We're looking for a leader who can challenge constructively, bring fresh thinking and identify opportunities others may not see. You'll be comfortable navigating a fast-moving environment, balancing competing priorities and making decisions that deliver both short and long-term value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
