Senior Manager, Product – Payments Funds In (Europe) – JR0130878

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product to own the expansion and optimisation of Western Union’s Funds In methods across Europe.

This role is responsible for growing coverage of Funds In methods across Europe corridors, improving conversion and authorization rates, while ensuring all Funds In methods meet compliance and scheme requirements. The role sits within the global Payments Product organisation and works closely with Engineering, compliance, business and external partners across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Europe Funds In product roadmap, identifying Funds In coverage gaps by corridor and prioritising integrations based on volume, revenue opportunity and customer demand.
  • Evaluate and onboard new Funds In methods such as local real-time rails, debit/credit card, wallets, bank transfers and digital assets.
  • Define and track key Funds In performance metrics such as acceptance rates and authorization rates.
  • Identify and deliver initiatives to improve conversion across the Funds In funnel.
  • Partner with processors, acquirers, card networks and wallet providers to manage integration delivery and ongoing performance management.
  • Work with compliance and risk teams to ensure all Funds In methods meet regulatory requirements, AML obligations, card scheme rules and chargeback controls.
  • Build business cases for new Funds In method integrations, performing market analysis, quantifying revenue, impact, incremental volume, implementation cost and risk.
  • Prepare and present regular funds-in performance reporting against OKRs for regional and global stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop associate-level and mid-level product managers on the Funds In team.

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years working directly on payments.
  • Strong understanding of Funds In Economics.
  • Demonstrated track record of owning a product roadmap and shipping end-to-end.
  • Data-driven approach to product decisions. Able to define funnel metrics and iterate results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Comfortable preparing and presenting executive-level materials.
  • Familiarity with card scheme rules (Visa / Mastercard) and acquirer relationships in Europe markets.
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree, or equivalent experience.
