The Role
You will manage all aspects of development works, including overall development management of new developments and existing assets across different sector classes ranging from commercial, student accommodation, retail, residential, industrial and logistics projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Ability to manage design and project execution independently from inception through authority submission, construction, project completion and handover.
- Well versed with authority submission process and requirements, especially local authorities in United Kingdom.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to identify project risks and mitigation measures. Accountable for design efficiency/NLA and costs.
- Manage shortlist selection and Pre-Qualification of all consultants, contractors and vendors. Maintain a documentation and assessment system of the same.
- Compliance with all corporate DOA and procurement processes, lead project team to manage procurement of consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Manage the development of design concepts / options for the projects, which include conceptualizing development design requirements and formulate design briefs to ensure that these are aligned with the Company and project development strategy.
- Manage the design consultants and liaise with all relevant authorities for timely regulatory approval of projects. Coordinate with business units and stakeholders to obtain quality, design, time and cost alignment.
- Manage the construction and contract administration, including quality and safety performance and reporting. Work with team to forecast, track and monitor site progress, costs and delivery quality during construction stage. Manage the handover of the completed project to the internal stakeholders.
- Lead the project team in liaising and coordinating with internal business units, external business associates and consultants on all project matters.
- Support company initiatives including but not limited to sustainability, buildability, procurement, compliance and governance.
- Accountable for the management of the project development process from inception to completion and ensuring that all time, costs, and quality targets of the projects are met.
- Maintain full integrity and adopt zero tolerance on malpractices at all stages of project.

- Degree in Architecture, Project Management/Construction preferred, but open to Civil/Structural/MEP Engineering and other related fields.
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant strong experience in full cycle development, from design management, project management, project administration to site execution of projects.
- Possess strong business acumen, strong communication and presentation skills, able to manage projects independently, has cultural sensitivity, ability to manage stakeholders, has strong endurance and high adaptability to change.
- Seeks continuous improvement to design and processes through consistently challenging the status quo or value engineering as the optimum solution to all aspects of the project and development.
- Possess positive mindset with strong organization and planning skills.
- Able to formulate strategies and implement systems to resolve project and team issues on hand.
