An established European alternative investment platform is looking to appoint a Senior Manager – Strategic Projects to join its Group Finance team in London.

This is a newly created position sitting at the intersection of commercial finance, strategy, and business transformation. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll help shape key strategic initiatives, improve decision-making through better financial insight and analytics, and play a leading role in the continued evolution of the finance function.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems and wants significantly broader exposure than a traditional FP&A or finance role can offer.

The Opportunity

You'll partner with senior stakeholders across the business to evaluate new opportunities, build financial models, improve reporting capability, and drive projects that support the firm's continued growth.

Alongside strategic analysis, you'll help modernise finance through automation, improved data utilisation, and technology-enabled process improvement, becoming a key contributor to how finance supports commercial decision-making across the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
