Senior Manager Technical Services

Senior Technical Services Manager

| Critical Environments | Financial Services | London

Salary: Circa £100,000 + car allowance + bonus + benefits

About the Role

We are partnering exclusively with a leading facilities management provider to recruit a Senior Technical Services Manager for a high-profile financial services account in London (City).

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is genuinely technical, commercially credible, and comfortable operating across complex critical environments. Unlike traditional engineering management, this role focuses on being the technical leader—shaping standards, managing risk, and supporting a high-performing team on a flagship client account.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical governance across a critical UKI portfolio, providing engineering oversight and subject-matter expertise across key sites.
  • Take ownership of technical strategy, risk, compliance, and engineering standards, with a focus on critical environments, banking infrastructure, and data centre operations.
  • Develop and refine HV/LV maintenance strategies across the portfolio.
  • Support Authorised Person frameworks and enforce safe systems of work.
  • Drive consistent engineering standards for both self-delivered and third-party subcontracted services.
  • Manage technical risk, change control, and incident investigations.
  • Provide technical due diligence for project integrations.
  • Review and enhance SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), EOPs (Emergency Operating Procedures), and scenario-testing programmes.
  • Engage confidently with client stakeholders, project teams, and senior leadership.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to engineering and facilities management (FM) teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
