Job Description
This is your chance to be part of a Global Distribution Team that is an important part of Hilton's Commercial Services organization around the world.
Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Distribution Integrations is responsible for implementing new channels and solutions in line with Hilton's strategy around existing and approved distribution channel partners.
This includes overseeing large-scale projects, testing, documentation, hotel-facing, and team member training. The team member will make sure any new channels or products meet the strategic and commercial goals and will set them up to consistently meet the requirements of the department and the company.
The Senior Manager will collaborate with various partners, intermediaries, and internal teams. They will integrate new opportunities, oversee the operational activation, and continuously evaluate the value proposition.
Furthermore, they will optimize the effectiveness of the channel partners following the activation.
You will understand the online third-party space, including Global Distribution Systems (GDS), evolving tools and platforms, and have experience working with intermediaries and connectivity options.
To be successful in this role, the team member will need to have experience establishing distribution and operational processes. The Senior Manager must also have previous experience in project management, with creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation and process improvement.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do During a Typical Day
Large-Scale Implementations
- Provide input/coaching during the Assessment and Contracting process of any new channel or technology discussion
- Complete assessment of potential new partners; consult on optimal integration design and develop a project plan
- Schedule and conduct operational and integration meetings, to review processes, ensure progress, and agree on KPIs with client
- Project manage the Distribution Integration process
- Take ownership or provide support for any activities in the Integration process as required by Director
- Ensure our teams and partners understand, implement, and test integration requirements promptly
Program Management, Education and Support
- Provide level 2/3 support for Distribution accounts and participating properties during the integration process
- Ensure an efficient integration
- Support Operations and Optimizations teams during handover from integration to steady state and provide training/guidance
- Lead product betas/pilots
- Communicate with stakeholders and hotels
- Work with other teams to orchestrate integration activities
- Work with Brands and Revenue Management to ensure a successful deployment and property adoption
- Educate partners on all commercial aspects of the program. Support the channel health assessment process, work with the Sales teams to develop corrective action plans
- Conduct hotel-level training webinars, develop product and program guides, training materials, and best practice documents

Strategic Engagement and Product Optimization
- Increase Hilton participation across new channels via hotel and rate plan set-up, operational enhancements, systems audits, and online channel analysis
- Work with the rate loading team to develop and add new programs and coordinate the launch of products
- Consult and implement Distribution related global projects in partnership with Global Revenue Management and Sales teams
How You'll Collaborate With Others
- Develop communication models to educate and inform teams and hotels of integration progress
- Provide second line support to all Global Distribution teams for integrated partners
- Co-ordinate progress reports between Global Distribution teams
- Partner with other team stakeholders to ensure understanding and development of cross-team processes
- Work with sales and revenue teams to build awareness of any solution impacts and benefits to partners
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Extensive experience in Hospitality Distribution or Revenue positions
- Proficiency in MS applications, including but not limited to Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Attention to detail with an interest in hospitality technology
- Able to work toward and deliver project goals within agreed timelines
- Ability to respond and adapt to constant hospitality changes
- Experience discerning whether a prospect is a good fit for a product based on discovery conversations and communicating product benefits appropriate for each prospect
Preferred Qualifications
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Proven experience working on Distribution projects within the Hospitality Industry
- Experience using Global Distribution Services (GDS) systems
- Project Management qualifications / certifications and experience managing and owning projects
- Additional spoken languages to support global business
- Skills and experience in using MS Access, VBA, and SQL
